I love a good plan. L-O-V-E.

I mean, it’s not like you’re going to just wake up one morning and find you’ve accidentally climbed Mount Everest, right? You have to decide you want to go, start training, book tickets…

Same with writing, or just about anything else. It all starts with a plan, and annual planning holds a special place in my square little heart.

This one takes you through what went well (or badly) last year and helps you work out what you really want to write (not what you feel you should). Then there’s a sneaky superpower trick that will help you see how you can get there and what needs to change, before you think about the habits you need to set up. Once you’ve got your goals, you can break it down into manageable chunks and see what you need to focus on each week et voila, there’s your roadmap to making your dreams happen.

The best bit? It’s choose-your-own-adventure. You can plan in as much depth as suits you. The full version will take about an hour, maybe longer if you go super-nerd and add in weekly word counts. If you’re the impatient type though, there’s a cheat’s version at the back you can do right now in 10 minutes.

Just click below and it’s yours, a little gift from me to you.
